Disaster recovery and damage management firms are a bit like doctors - everyone takes confidence in the knowledge they exist but no one ever wants to see them on their own doorstep. To say it has been a good year for the industry would, by definition, mean that thousands have suffered with fires, floods and storms destroying their homes and businesses.
