Quarry company extends lease of heathland nature reserve.

One of the world's biggest providers of industrial minerals has extended the lease for a nature reserve to a wildlife charity.

Teignbridge quarrying company and landowner WBB Minerals has extended Devon Wildlife Trust's tenure of Chudleigh Knighton Heath. The company has also made a financial donation to the trust to help its conservation work.

The trust has worked with WBB at sites across the region for a number of years and three of its finest nature reserves are leased from the minerals company.

WBB gave the financial donation alongside other funding provided by the Claude and Margaret Pike Woodlands Trust. …
