SEOUL, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - Korea Zinc Co., the world's largest zinc smelter by production, said Thursday it plans to sell or liquidate its affiliate in the United States after suspending the unit's operations in February next year.
"We will sell or liquidate the U.S. unit if it is proved to be difficult to resume the plant's operations," said Hong Ji-sang, a spokesman at Korea Zinc.
