BEIJING, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - China's farm produce export next year will face a tough situation due to the new food safety regulations to be implemented by Japan and the European Union, said Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce Yu Guangzhou here Tuesday.
Yu made the remarks at an information release conference on export of agricultural product. Those regulations, with stricter standards, will have great impact on China's export of tea and vegetable, he said.
The bird flu epidemic will also affect the global poultry trade, including China's fowl export, he added.
