CHANDIGARH, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - Samsung Telecommunications has huge investment plans for Haryana and to begin with will set up a US$15 million mobile handset manufacturing facility in the state.
The company's president Ki Tae Lee disclosed this to Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who is currently on a visit to Seoul, an official statement said here on Wednesday.
The announcement comes close on the heels of mobile handset leader Nokia announcing plans to set up a manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu in India.
A Taiwanese handset maker too is in talks with New Delhi to set up shop in the country.
