Students to work together to build traveling photography and poetry exhibit

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill., Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Seventeen students from a Highland Park middle school left today for Bayou La Batre, Alabama, a small, storm-ravaged coastal town about 25 miles south of Mobile, to work with local students on an arts project designed to help them process their emotions in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

The Highland Park seventh- and eighth-graders, members of the Future Problem Solvers of America team at Elm Place Middle School, will spend the next three days in Bayou La Batre working with peers at Alba Middle School.
