LEISURE cruises on Shanghai's Huangpu river are about to get a shake-up prior to the 2010 World Expo, according to the China Daily, writes Mike Grinter in Hong Kong.

Yu Zhicheng, vice-president of the department of Ship Examination, denied reports that only cruiseships of a capacity of more than 400 passengers will be allowed to sail on the Huangpu river after new regulations are introduced.
