Only 1.3 per cent of Leicester Polytechnic students were unemployed three months after graduating last year, director Mr David Bethel said yesterday.

The powerful Amalgamated Engineering Union and the General Iron Fitters Association have officially recognised the four-week-old strike at the three Rolls Royce Scottish factories caused over one man.
