LAKELAND -- The downtown skyline here isn't nearly as large as those of neighbors to the east and west, and that's actually a good thing for companies seeking smaller offices.
Rather than try to lure large corporations into the central business district, Lakeland brokers say they would rather see smaller tenants fill available space. After all, there is plenty of big space all around the outskirts.
"We're going to have to expand our opportunities by seeking those (smaller) prospects," said David Buckner, an office broker with Loftin Real Estate...
