Portis has excelled behind the Redskins' new zone-blocking scheme this season. He plays much bigger than his size (5-11, 205) and is strongest running inside, where his strong leg drive helps him break tackles. Pierce is an instinctive player and an excellent tackler with sideline-to-sideline range. The Giants use their front four to occupy blockers, which allows Pierce to run free to the ball.
