*Mother-of-three Nicola Elliott knows all about the pressures of trying to bring up children so they are happy and secure, while trying to avoid the pitfalls of giving in to their constant demands.

"You never know if you have the balance right, but it's important to keep trying. Some days I think we're doing it all very well, but then when they have a room full of toys and potential activities yet they still say they are bored I start wondering "where did I go wrong?" Nicola explains.

"I try and keep the kids fairly grounded. My husband Brian and I didn't get everything we wanted as kids, and our three certainly don't get all they want either.
