(From Irish Independent)
It is exactly a year since I wrote about Enowine, the innovative and very attractive wine shop on Monkstown Crescent just up from the Dart Station at Salthill.
What makes Enowine so unusual is that by using a patented Italian system of keeping wine fresh, owners Yvonne and James Connolly have more than 100 wines in perfect condition and ready to be tasted at any one time. You simply purchase a special 'credit card' for 10 or 20, pick up a glass and off you go.
There are plenty of under 10 wines to taste, but where Enowine comes into its own is trying out good clarets, classic Italian reds like Amarones and expensive top-class reserve wines from Spain or the New World. For less than 10 you can try all these wines below.

Wonderful floral nose and packed with intense fresh fruit flavours. There's a long, lingering finish with a crisp bite underneath. A classic Alsace Riesling.
