Samsung and Microsoft have announced the winners of the second annual Hope For Education essay contest, a philanthropic program created by Samsung to benefit children's education with the latest technology.

Through the program, 101 U.S. elementary, middle and high schools will receive a total of $2 million in technology prizes from Samsung and Microsoft.

Based on a winning essay submission describing the importance of technology in education, North Lincoln High School of Lincolnton, North Carolina will receive the grand prize of $200,000 worth of Samsung technology and Microsoft software.…
