Section: Regional News - The Laos Veterans' Association opened its first congress in Vientiane on Nov. 10.

The three-day meeting is being attended by Chairman of the Lao National Assembly Saman Vinhaket and senior officials of Lao state agencies and social organisations. A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnam Veterans' Association is attending the meeting.
