Section: Regional News - ASEAN member countries are committed to strengthening security and defence cooperation in the region, an Indonesian military official said on Nov.11.

"All ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) member states have agreed to help make their region secure through viable cooperation, including military cooperation between states," Maj. Gen. Kohirin Suganda, head of Indonesian Defence Forces' information section, was quoted by Indonesia News Agency (Antara) as saying.
