Section: Regional News - The Nhan Dan (People) daily on November 11 called the US State Department's resolution listing Vietnam as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC) an action in violation of the UN charter and one causing damage to Vietnam-US relations.

The article asserted that the Vietnamese Government has unswervingly pursued a policy of respecting the right of its citizens to freedom of belief and religion as well as their right to freedom of non-belief and non-religion.
