t didnit take long for Patricia Wexler to find her true calling in life. I was premed at birth,I says the New York City dermatologist, laughing. Each of the 19 cleansers, serums, peels, and creams are packed with MMPis (matrix metallo protein inhibitors), compounds that regulate the bodyis collagen-destroying enzymes (a crucial part of the aging process). They also reduce inflammation, calming blemishes and evening out skin tone along the way. To figure out the perfect formulas, Wexler spent months holed up with chemists and researchers, and then tested samples on friends, family, and even neighbors.
