The other day, I saw this woman who was purebred Park Avenue -- lacquered, pinched, nipped, plucked, and bleached. I wanted to say, "Hello? Can you hear me in there?" Too much so-called good taste can deaden you. What's really sexy is someone who wants to try new things, play around with makeup, and pay no attention to the rules.

RULE #1 Big Lips Are Better

I see beautiful women who've puffed up their lips so much they look like they've actually found Nemo. It's absurd. And worse yet, there's also a rule that dark lipstick looks good only on these big fish mouths. Nonsense. Sigourney Weaver looks amazing in burgundy lipstick, and her lips are thin. My best advice is to respect the natural shape of your lips and

not try to make them look bigger (with fillers or liner). Use lip balm first, then color in
