Surface, on NBC. Something is out there in the sea. It is nasty. It lurks. It's big. When the young boy in San Diego scoops up some oozy stuff from the

surface of the night sea and puts it in the aquarium, we know the house won't

be safe for long. We know that ooze makes babies. We saw Inconceivable.

Kitchen Confidential on Fox provides culinary mayhem, a Patagonian sea bass named Greg, and a piece of finger under the nest of deep-fried fennel in the restaurant critic's plate. It stars Bradley Cooper as Bourdain and also has Jaime King, former model, as the "the girl who put the 'ho' in hostess."

Reunion is an amalgam of The Big Chill and a whodunit: a group of friends graduate from high school in 1986, one of them is dead in 2006, and each episode will happen in a different year from 1986 onward. We will find out who died, and why. Always good to know.
