Since the devastating deluge hit Boscastle in 2004, villagers have been struggling to get their economy back on track.
One of the buildings flattened during the August 16 flood was the visitor centre, a key support to businesses which rely heavily on the tourist trade.
For the past year visitors have been directed to a tiny portable cabin to find out information about the village. But the National Trust has just announced that it has purchased a building in the harbour area which will house a new visitor centre. It marks yet another stage in the regeneration of Boscastle.
