China, Thailand carry forward close ties.

Author: r China and Thailand have carried forward their close relations and further enhanced their cooperation, said Chinese top advisor Jia Qinglin in Beijing Wednesday. Jia, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), made the remarks while meeting with Thai Senate Speaker Suchon Chaleekure. Jia said this year marks the 30th anniversary of forging diplomatic ties between China and Thailand, and Suchon's current China visit is an important part of the celebrations of the two nations.
