First flight to Iran

An Iraqi Airways passenger plane landed yesterday in Tehran, the first flight in 25 years between the nations that fought an eight-year war, state television reported.

The television report showed the Boeing-727, which carried 69 passengers including Iraqi civil aviation officials and reporters, landing and taxiing to the terminal.
