Tokyo, Nov. 9 (Jiji Press)--Japan and Singapore has signed a revised bilateral currency swap arrangement that enables Japan to provide up to 3 billion U.S. dollars for Singapore when it is in urgent need of foreign currencies, the Japanese Finance Ministry and the Bank of Japan said Wednesday.

The upper limit of dollar funds offered from Japan to Singapore was raised from the one billion dollars set under their initial, one-way arrangement concluded in November 2003.
