I think getting QB Chris Chandler was the No. 1 upgrade the Bears made on offense. If they can protect him and keep him healthy, I think he will help. The guy can still throw the ball, he understands how to read defenses and he can move the chains. They may try to go with (Jim) Miller, but I personally think Chandler will beat him out.... The Jets should be better off at receiver with Santana Moss healthy. But they really have only three wide receivers (Wayne Chrebet, Laveranues Coles and Moss), and they're all small. Kevin Swayne is their fourth, but he's not really a guy who scares you. I think you want bigger receivers if you're going to run that so-called West Coast offense. And Vinny (Testaverde) is a down-the-field type thrower. I don't think the West Coast really suits what they have.... The biggest question mark on the Panthers is QB Chris Weinke. Can he carry the load? I think the jury is definitely still out on him. I just think he's got to prove that he can move around the pocket more and show that he's got more elusiveness. He threw more picks than touchdowns last year, so the interceptions-to-touchdowns ratio has to reverse itself.... Terrell Owens speaks his mind, but he's a legit star player. What the 49ers need is more production from the other wideouts, who I feel are a bunch of underachievers....
