It's close enough, that you feel as if the game were taking place in your living room.

For the fans, of course, the close quarters of Arena Football provide a different feeling from the outdoor experience.

It makes you feel like you're almost in the game.

It's like you're in the huddle ... From your seat, listen to plays being called over the barking of defensive signals ... Watch eyes blink, and fingers twitch before the snap of the ball.

Front row at an outdoor game is at least 50 yards away from the action. In Arena Football, you're right on top of it, and you have to be aware all the time.

It's real close, and it's real fast.

Foam rubber walls are all that separate you in the first row from the action on the field. And often, that's not nearly enough, as you can keep the footballs, but are cautioned to throw the players back.
