Choice voice `If the 76ers give up on Allen Iverson, it will be the worst decision in team history--even worse than drafting Shawn Bradley with the No. 2 pick in 1993.--George Smith, Leavenworth, Fan.
No sympathy
It's a shame to hear someone as talented as Allen Iverson complain about having to go to practice (TSN, May 20). Here in Hockeytown, we watch as Steve Yzerman hobbles through game after game on a gimpy knee but still has enough respect for the game and his teammates to show up for practice every day.

Spurrier shall overcome
I'm tired of everybody looking for Steve Spurrier and the Redskins to fail (TSN, May 6). The fact is, Spurrier has had success everywhere he has been, from the ACC to the SEC to the USFL. He was even a Heisman-winning quarterback. It is hard to argue with that, and he at least should be given the benefit of the doubt at this point.
The Eagles are by no means a lock to win the NFC East. Last year, the Redskins were very competitive with them and split the series. The bottom line is the NFC East is wide open, and with Spurrier in the mix, the competition should be intense.
