Meeting a member of the Royal family must be a slightly daunting experience - even for the most professional performer.

However, ventriloquist Paul Zerdin admits to getting used to being in royal company now that he has experienced it no less than three times.

Paul, who stars as Muddles in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Hull New Theatre, has just appeared in this year's Royal Variety Performance, which was screened on BBC1 at the weekend.
