Luanda, 18 December: Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs Joao Bernardo de Miranda, presides, today and Thursday 19 December, in Kampala, Uganda, over a political committee meeting that accompanies the implementation of the Lusaka cease-fire accord for the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Created in terms of the referred to accord signed in August 2000 and which is presided over by Angola, the committee is evaluating the development of the political and military situation in the DRCongo since the latest meeting, which took place in August in Luanda.
