Issue 91 has some of the silliest reviews I have ever seen.
Here is a product from Italy, "The Flying Egg." Clever. But what bothers me is that it came cross-wired. The review should have ended right there. But not a Problem ... "A few trans-Atlantic phone calls later ..." re-solder the crossovers, etc. and on we go. No problem?
Then on to the Sound Poles by EOSS. Again a cool-looking clever product. Here we find a fault in the preproduction woofer amps causing "initial distortion." This should end the review. But no ... not a problem ... just talk to EOSS and have Chris Field drop by with Ed. Onglao and fix it with another unit. No problem?
Both of these featured products were defective. These are not sensible choices in their current state of development and should not be reviewed.
