Greg Gathers, Georgia Tech. Though he was overshadowed the last two seasons by conference mate Julius Peppers, who reaped All-American honors at North Carolina, Gathers has more sacks (30) after three seasons than Peppers did.

Antonio Garay, Boston College. He's powerful built like a tackle and quick enough to rush from the edge. Neck surgery cut short his 2001 season and limited his offseason work, but watch how fast his NFL prospects soar with a healthy season.

Darrion Scott, Ohio State. The Buckeyes have one of the best end tandems in college football in Will Smith and Scott. who is quick enough to beat offensive tackles to the spot of the play and strong enough to play straight up against the run.

Elton Patterson, Central Florida. Though ha got away from the state's Big Three during recruiting he might be the best rush and in Florida. He has outstanding range and footwork, and his quick first step and upperbody strength allow him to toy with offensive tackles.
