It's ridiculous. Flat-out unfair, unreasonable and, let's face it, unlikely. But it's so intriguing. "Do you realize what you're saying?" says one NFC scout. Yep, and here it is: The quarterback draft class this year--drum roll, please--could be better than the heralded class of 1983.

Better than Marino, Elway and Kelly. Wait, check that. The entire class of 2003 will be better than the entire class of 1983. Once fellow first-rounders Todd Blackledge, Tony Eason and Ken O'Brien are included in the '83 bunch, things get interesting--especially if a couple of underclassmen enter the 2003 draft.
