With the season upon us, we are about to find out if the various system changes instituted by coaching staffs around the league will work. Some look promising; others just don't appear to be the right fit.

Baltimore's 3-4 defense

Granted, Baltimore has a lack of talent and depth on its defensive line. But the transition to a 3-4 reeks of a quick fix.

In the 3-4, it's essential to have a nose tackle with great size who can occupy the center and guard. At 285 pounds and with almost no starting experience, Kelly Gregg is not the right guy.
