An executive who has played a key role in helping the wholesale origination subsidiary of American Home Mortgage Investment Corp. grow is among those attending the Mortgage Bankers Association's annual convention from American Brokers Conduit.

The ABC executive vice president, Lisa Schreiber, has been with the company since 2002, when AHMIC was primarily a retail originator and its wholesale efforts were first getting off the ground. As a result she knows a lot about the company's wholesale channel and the technology and other services used to support it, something investors and vendors who attend the MBA show are interested in, she said.
