IBM and Kingdee International have unveiled a software and services package, backed by data communications provider CPCNet Hong Kong, to help local and foreign firms comply with cross-border business and financial processes as they expand in the mainland.

The joint solution is the most ambitious initiative launched by IBM and Kingdee, nine months after the two companies forged a strategic global alliance.

It is also expected to pave the way for Hong Kong-listed Kingdee to establish a platform on which it can offer on-demand software.
