The government has appointed Vice Admiral Mohammad Haroon as Vice Chief of Naval Staff with immediate effect. According to a press release issued by Naval Headquarters on Monday, the Ministry of Defence has issued a notification in this regard.
Presently, he is performing the duties of Chief of Staff at Naval Headquarters.
Vice Admiral Mohammad Haroon joined Pakistan Navy on May 11, 1967. Subsequent to successful completion of 3-1/2 years training, the Flag Officer was commissioned on December 1, 1970.
