The amateur showdown between the visiting Denmark team and the Nairobi Select team will be the highlight of Kenyatta Day at Charter Hall, Nairobi today. The fights will start from 2pm.

Denmark's team of 14 boxers and six officials arrived from Copenhagen on Tuesday to start a week-long tour of Africa.

The visitors held light training at the St Theresa's gymnasium in Eastleigh, Nairobi, yesterday afternoon and promised to put up a good show on their first tour of the continent.

Team trainer Paul Danby said they had prepared for two months for the tour.
