The Japanese government has decided to release $8 million out of $20 million already committed as emergency relief grant to the United Nations for those affected by the large-scale earthquake in Pakistan.
A press statement issued here on Wednesday said that out of $20 million, $12 million are pledged as assistance on a bilateral basis.
