Reality Tv can't be a wholly bad thing - if it hadn't been for television's The X Factor, Rowetta's powerhouse vocals may never have been resurrected.
The 39-year-old Mancunian recently released her debut solo album - 15 years after she added her tremulous soul voice to the Happy Mondays' dance anthem Step On.
She became an integral part of the band alongside dancer Bez, who made his comeback on Celebrity Big Brother, with Rowetta's encouragement.
