Advertising Standards Authority NED-BLANK Bank's share campaign not antiwhite, says ASA Nedbank has won an important victory at the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) after its Eyethu black economic empowerment share ownership plan was accused of being antiwhite.

Complaints to the ASA were from consumers. But Eyethu has also come under fire separately from trade union Solidarity, which accused Nedbank of discrimination. There have been calls in some quarters for a boycott of the bank. In the Eastern Cape, some members of the Freedom Front Plus have openly accused Nedbank of being antiwhite.
