When Melissa Loyd Maish accepted a job at Ferragamo sixteen years ago, she left New York with only three weeks' notice and the idea that she'd live abroad for three years. "I thought buon giorno was French," the Miami native says with a laugh. "I came over for work, and I guess I stayed for the life."
