`Is it just me, or does it seem the "major/power/elite" conferences have better marketing teams than they have basketball teams?'

--R.B. Malnory, Dallas

A different look

I found your recent article on Dennis Green (TSN, March 26) refreshingly well-written and insightful. If more sportswriters learned to write competently and with impact, my enjoyment of sports in general would greatly increase. After all, I, like most fans I expect, spend far more time reading about sports than I do actually watching the games. Keep up the fine work.

Excellent article! This has to be the best article written on Dennis Green's job performance. You listed both the good that he has done and the bad. Too often, writers only concentrate on the things that have gone wrong with the Vikings. It is very nice to see someone write on both the good and the bad.
