Arthur A. Blumenfeld

1932-2000

Arthur A. Blumenfeld, GFOA President 1984-85, passed away November 3, 2000, after a 14-year struggle against cancer. Mr. Blumenfeld worked for the City of Albuquerque, New Mexico, in various capacities over the years. He served as director of finance and management for many years and later served as chief administrative officer for the city. Prior to working for the city, Blumenfeld served on the business school faculty of the University of New Mexico and was director of its Bureau of Business Research.
