SEOUL, April 2 Asia Pulse - The outlook for the nation's exports to the United States in the first half of this year looks grim due to the U.S. economic recession and heavier trade pressure, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) said Monday.
"In December, we forecast a 13.5 percent increase in exports to the United States this year, but this now looks difficult to achieve," said Oh Sung-keun, North American team manager at KOTRA. "We're hoping for the U.S. economy will recover in the latter half."
