ISLAMABAD, April 2 Asia Pulse - The government will announce this month an incentive package for onshore exploration in the Potohar region to boost foreign investment in the oil and gas sector.

Official sources said that besides some tax incentives, the proposed package also envisages improved benefits being offered to the oil companies.

"The incentive package for the Potohar region is part of an overall onshore exploration policy which is being actively pursued," said the sources.
