ISLAMABAD, April 2 Asia Pulse - Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has approved a programme to provide financial assistance, technical capability and administrative support to qualified young researchers intending to do research work in various fields of science and technology.
The programme has been launched in collaboration with Comstech after Prof. Atta-urRahman convinced the IDB authorities of the need to launch such a programme to develop human resource capacity of Islamic world. The support will be provided in the fields of agriculture, energy, information technologies, biomedical technologies, textile technologies, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and genetic engineering and environmental sciences to research institutions in IDB member countries.
