NEW DELHI, April 2 Asia Pulse - India on Friday said it was studying the implications of the US decision to dump the UN treaty on global warming approved by the Clinton administration.
Washington's move, expected ever since George W. Bush set out on the campaign trail last year, may be the coup de grace for the ailing Kyoto Protocol, the sole international defence against the looming monster of climate change.
"We are examining it and studying its implications," a foreign office spokesman told reporters when asked for India's reaction to the US decision.
