Architects and students abandoned the realm of the real to explore purely imaginative themes from literature, music, poetry, and cinema for the seventh annual Graphisoft virtual building design competition. Using Graphisoft's (Budapest, Hungary) ArchiCAD software as a design and visualization tool, the entrants created virtual architecture based on cultural themes such as Atlantis, Francis Ford Coppola's The Cotton Club, Billy Idol's Shangrila, Pink Floyd's The School, and George Orwell's The Ministry of Truth.
