Tornadoes take fourth; Wheeler wins 110-meter hurdles in Region 3A-3 meet.(SPORTS)

Host Booker High captured fourth place in the boys team competition in Thursday's Class 3A-Region 3 track and field meet at Tornado Alley behind wins from David Wheeler and Corey Richardson.

Wheeler won the 110-meter high hurdles, beating Dermillo Wise of St. Petersburg-Lakewood. Wise, however, returned the favor in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles, sparking the Spartans to the boys team title with 67 points.

Tampa-King finished second after winning the 1,600-meter relay with 52.5 points. Seffner-Armwood edged Booker 42.5-42 for third.
