ESSO MALAYSIA BHD REPORTS REVENUE OF US$1.01 BLN IN 2000.
KUALA LUMPUR, May 1 Asia Pulse - Esso Malaysia Bhd (KLSE:ESSO) recorded revenue in 2000 of RM3.8 billion (US$1.01 billion), an increase of 54 per cent over the previous year's revenue of RM2,489 million.
The 2000 performance was mainly a result of a general improvement in industry refining margins from the low levels experienced in 1999.
Sales volume remained relatively unchanged at 78 thousand barrels per day (bpd), the company said.
LPG, lubricants and specialty product sales were maintained at the same levels recorded in 1999.
