JAKARTA, May 1 Asia Pulse - The House of Representatives (DPR) has issued a second memorandum of censure to Indonesia's President Abdurrahman Wahid due to his negligence over the first memorandum issued on February 1, 2001.
The final draft of the second memorandum that faction leaders made was read out by the House secretary general Sri Sumarjati in front of legislators attending the plenary meeting here Monday evening.
The second memorandum also stipulated that it was sent to Wahid as the follow up of the first memorandum.
The letter was sent to him three months ago after majority of the legislators believed that President Wahid had really violated the State Policy Guidelines.
The legislators who supported the issuance of the second memorandum agreed to give the embattled head of state a month to improve the performance of his administration.
